DESCRIPTION:A little about me.\nI grew up on Long island NY.\nSon of a WWll POW Veteran.\nMy mom and Dad met in a swing big band.\nMusic was always in my household.\n\nI studied pre vet med the first time in college.\nThen moved on to study music at Berklee School of Music in Boston. I played all over New England and Florida in various groups.\n\nI studied computer science and got hired by Ross Perot’s company and moved to Pennsylvania. I continued playing music in jazz and Latin bands there.\n\nThen I moved to Maryland where I worked in a music studio briefly and returned to playing music and programming.\n\n10 years ago\, I stopped programming and became a full-time musician again. I currently play alot of solo gigs and work with some very accomplished jazz musicians around the DMV and play lots of solo gigs.\n\nI have a huge repertoire from decades of performing.\n\nwww.howiejung.com
