DESCRIPTION:John grew up in Maryland and studied classical\, Spanish\, and flamenco guitar from a young age. Coming from a musical family\, he was exposed to a wide variety of music from a young age. Jazz\, classical\, folk\, Latin and other styles were always playing in the background. At the age of 13\, he picked up a guitar and never looked back. He enjoys playing a variety of music including rock\, folk\, pop\, country\, reggae\, and more. Some early influences on his guitar playing are Simon & Garfunkel\, The Beatles\, Neil Young\, Jack Johnson\, and Bob Marley. He enjoys playing and teaching many genres of guitar including Classical\, Spanish\, Flamenco\, Brazilian\, Folk\, Pop\, Rock\, and Reggae.
