Noah “Red” Hawes is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter out of Brunswick, Maryland. Music has been a part of his life from a young age, and over the years his influences have culminated in the music he writes and performs today. After growing up on music from the 60s and 70s classic rock his parents would play on the radio, he expanded into 90s hard rock, alt/indie rock, as well as progressive rock. Red’s musical palette is extensive, compiling mental notes of every ear-catching element he can find. After studying classical guitar in college, he developed a unique acoustic style that combines as much of each musical element in a song onto one instrument, including melody, accompaniment, and percussion. His solo show incorporates these elements into acoustic arrangements of 60s to present rock and pop songs from popular bands like Simon and Garfunkel, the Foo Fighters, and the Chainsmokers.
