Originally I’m from Frederick, MD. I grew up right outside of town, always being exposed to the plethora of local artists and happenings there. Music runs in my family. My uncle gave me a drum set during the summer after 4th grade. I loved it but my parents didn’t care much for the noise. So in 6th grade, I got my first electric guitar. Family parties quickly turned into full-on stage productions with the whole family running through the gamut of hits from all the greats like The Beatles, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Steve Miller Band, Bob Marley, and on and on. I’ve been focusing mostly on acoustic music for the last seven years or so, blending my own mix of rock, reggae, psychedelic bluegrass, and beyond. My favorite song to play has to be Cleaning Windows, by Van Morrison. As a local, I feel a weight of responsibility to help keep MD’s live music scene alive, vibrant, and thriving!
