I grew up in Cleveland Ohio.  Gotta thank my folks for having music in their blood – Mom and Dad both played piano – Mom was a wonderful singer.  They were awesome when I made music my career.  My pop had me growing up listening to Basie, The Beatles, Coltrane, Dylan, Funkadelic, Cole Porter – you name it!  I travelled around the USA playing all these styles from one point to another before settling here to play and also teach at AU.  Sure love being home in MoCo – nothing is cooler than playing for your community!  Great arts traditions here fer sure.
